Privacy Policy
Last Updated & Effective Date: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alarmy Pro: Loud Alarm ("Alarmy Pro," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. Alarmy Pro is operated by Utiliqo Labs.
Summary: Alarmy Pro does not require users to create an account. Alarm schedules, mission settings, session data, ringtone selections, and most app preferences are stored locally on the user's device. We may use limited third-party services for ads, crash reporting, analytics, remote configuration, and app update support. Permissions are requested only to support app features such as reliable alarms, missions, notifications, selected ringtones, and optional alarm protection settings.
1. Information We Process Locally
Alarmy Pro processes the following information on your device to provide the app's alarm and productivity features:
- Alarm information: alarm time, repeat days, selected dates, labels, snooze settings, alarm level, ringtone choice, and active/inactive status.
- Mission settings: selected mission type and configuration, such as math level, memory settings, typing text, tap count, shake settings, step goal, photo mission data, QR/barcode mission data, and wake-up check settings.
- Tool and session data: stopwatch, countdown timer, local clock display preferences, session setup, and related user preferences.
- Ringtone selections: references to user-selected audio files or built-in app alarm sounds.
- Photo/QR mission information: camera input used to configure or complete optional Photo Mission and QR/barcode Mission features.
This information is used to operate the app and is generally stored locally on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes local app information from your device, subject to normal Android system behavior.
2. Information Collected Through Third-Party Services
Alarmy Pro may use third-party services that collect limited device, usage, diagnostics, advertising, and app performance data according to their own privacy practices. These services help us maintain app stability, understand app performance, provide ads where applicable, manage remote configuration, and support app updates.
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob | To display ads and support app monetization where ads are enabled. Ad-related identifiers and device information may be processed by Google according to Google's policies. |
| Firebase Analytics | To understand general app usage and improve features where analytics are enabled. |
| Firebase Crashlytics | To collect crash reports and diagnostics so we can fix stability issues where crash reporting is enabled. |
| Firebase Firestore | To support remote configuration, required-update/version checks, and app service configuration. |
| Google Play In-App Updates | To help users update to the latest app version through Google Play where this feature is enabled. |

3. Permissions and Why We Request Them
Alarmy Pro requests Android permissions only when needed for app functionality. Some permissions are essential for reliable alarms, while others are optional and only needed for specific features. A detailed public explanation is available on our Permissions Used page.
- Exact alarm permissions: used so user-created alarms can ring at the correct time.
- Notification and full-screen alarm behavior: used to alert users and show the alarm dismissal screen when an alarm is ringing.
- Foreground service and wake lock: used to keep alarm playback active while the alarm is ringing.
- Camera: used only for optional Photo Mission and QR/barcode Mission features.
- Physical Activity: used only for the optional Step Mission.
- Audio/media access: used when a user chooses music or audio from the device as an alarm ringtone.
- Accessibility Service and Device Admin: optional alarm protection features that require separate user action in Android settings and are not required for normal alarm use.
4. Accessibility Service and Device Admin
Important: Accessibility access and Device Admin are optional. Alarmy Pro does not use Accessibility Service to read private content, collect personal data, capture passwords, monitor unrelated activity, or perform hidden tracking.
If a user enables optional Alarm Protection, AccessibilityService may be used only while a protected alarm is ringing. During that time, Alarmy Pro may access the current foreground window state and visible text or buttons shown by Android System UI, such as Power off, Restart, Shut down, or Reboot. This is used only to recognize the device power menu, help keep the alarm screen active, and return the user to the alarm screen until the selected wake-up task is completed.
AccessibilityService processing happens on the user's device only. Alarmy Pro does not store, transmit, sell, or share AccessibilityService data. It does not read passwords, messages, contacts, financial information, or unrelated personal content. Users can use normal alarms and wake-up missions without enabling AccessibilityService, and can disable this access anytime in Alarmy Pro settings or Android Accessibility settings.
Device Admin may be used only for optional uninstall protection during active alarms. It is not required for normal alarm use and can be turned off from Alarmy Pro settings or Android Device Admin settings.
